How to add a Pinterest Showcase/Slideshow to your Profile

I’ve been using Pinterest a lot lately and one thing I noticed is that some people’s accounts have a Pinterest Showcase attached to them, which is a sort of spotlight slideshow of the boards you want highlight or that show what your account is about. The Pinterest Showcase can also be referred to as a Pinterest Slideshow or a Featured Board.

Below is a picture showing you what a Pinterest Showcase looks like.

The Showcase automatically plays a slideshow of your featured boards when someone arrives on your profile (which can show them why they should follow you).

I googled how to get one for my Pinterest Profile but all the tutorials I found on it said that there would be a very obvious blank one on your profile page already that you could edit (basically your profile would look like the image above but the showcase was all grey).

The only problem with this is that I didn’t have a blank Pinterest Showcase on my profile page.

After a bit of messing around in my Pinterest account, I figured out how to set one up and decided to create a blog post on it just in case anyone else couldn’t figure out how to add a Pinterest Showcase to their profile or was wondering why they didn’t have one.

Below is a picture of my profile before I added my Showcase (with no blank Showcase in sight).

The first thing you do to add a Pinterest Showcase to your account is to click on the little image of your profile picture up in the corner and go down to settings.

Once you are in Settings, click on Profile and it will take you to the area in your settings where you can edit your Pinterest Showcase.
